Strategic Planning
Groups and organizations of every size (both for profit and not-for-profit) and communities need to critically self analyze themselves from time to time in order to stay competitive and in front of the curve. L.B. Schmidt & Associates has a proven model for guiding such introspective group discussions.
The process begins with a detailed client briefing in order to identify issues and project goals. The process continues with confidential key stakeholder interviews which provide the basis for the client's organizational Strategic Assessment, a detailed document that provides a profile of the organization. Luke Schmidt then leads the client group through a strategic planning exercise which builds on the organization's strategic assessment.
During this group exercise, the client's guiding principles (Mission Statement, Vision Statement, etc.) are either established, examined or revised if needed. Key issues are identified and strategic goals are adopted for the future. The entire process is designed to provide the client with a path forward for achieving the strategic goals.
Services include developing a client profile, peer organizational/community analysis, key stakeholder interviews, development of client strategic assessment, facilitation of a leadership retreat, review of organizational/community guiding principles, and the development of strategic goals.
